Shadowland

A dark and shadowy wood concealed them, but Ariel entered nonetheless.

It was early evening and the sun filtered through the leaves, although as the boughs knit together more closely above the broad path the gloominess became tangible, like an ominous presence surrounding him.

He knew he must pass through the forest, however perilous the journey. He had abandoned his father's house at dawn after refusing for the last time to kneel to the family's gods. His sisters clung to their mother's skirts but he was to be taken on the morrow to the men of Baal for judgement, and Ariel knew it would go hard with him and his life was in pledge. So that evening, as he was cleaning the animal stalls, he decided to creep away before dawn and make haste to remove himself from danger.

But his mother loved him and the Lord had compassion, so when he crept into the kitchen in the small hours he found victuals and a flagon of wine left out. So he took them, with sling, knife, flint and steel, and a single iron cookpot and spirited himself away from his home with a heavy heart, melting into the wan light of the new dawn.

He passed the open fields furtively as the sun arose, keeping to the hedgerows to avoid detection and making slow progress, so the hour was becoming late when he finally reached the edge of the wood, but he felt relief to be cloaked at last by the oaks and sycamores, the myrtle, the laurel and the juniper. It was too late now for the fellers, hunters and charcoal burners to be about their craft, and the wood was vast, stretching hundreds of miles to the north, east, and west. So he left the main path and found a hollow under the rock, where he made a soft bed of moss and lighted a small fire for warmth and to roast the venison he had taken from his mother's larder.

Leaning back against the rock he peered into the thick darkness beyond the firelight. Creeping sounds and pattering feet were all around him. A branch snapped in the distance and he gathered up his staff and sling, mindful that this was the home to wolves, bears and dangerous creatures. His heart was heavy as he thought back through his life. The bright optimism of the college and his disdainful opposition to his teachers, men and women who,  in the main, seemed to lack understanding about even the most basic matters of life. It was a gay time indeed, but he was making a name and a reputation, eyes were upon him and the world was at the threshold. It was time to become a man, find gainful employment and take a wife, but he was in love with beauty and excitement and had no time for studies, debts, and worldly cares, lacking any degree of respect for his elders.

The meat crackled over the flames and he made a pot of roast garlic and wine to moisten it. The feast was fit for a king. The fat ran through his fingers and the succulent meat brought strength and vigour to his bones for the road ahead. He fell into a deep and restorative sleep in the shadow of a great oak beside the dying embers of the fire.

Things important, things senseless

"Flat earth" is a misnomer that came into use only as a reaction against the globulism that dominated the latter half of the 20th century and continues to prevail, although its days are numbered. I prefer to speak of "biblical cosmology", also because it's not really about flatness per se, but rather a series of characteristics described in the Bible, many of which  perceptible to our senses.

We cannot, however, perceive the foundations of the earth, the gates of hell, or the windows of heaven. We can imagine the ends of the earth, but we cannot realistically visit them since they are extremely cold, remote, and highly protected militarily. The levelness and the stillness of the world, and the local nature of sun, moon, and stars are all perceptible to a greater or lesser extent. Even the firmament can be glimpsed when thunder and lightning are reflected from it to dramatic effect or in phenomena such as sun dogs.

In church, some of the more cautiously minded will surely be reluctant to dismiss the idea point blank, but they generally say that the matter is unimportant in the greater scheme of things, which is all about getting folks saved and spreading the Word.

This is to assert that truth has no bearing on salvation. But the Bible says that Jesus Christ is the truth, so to relegate truth to a secondary
role is to detract from the holiness and integrity of our Lord and Saviour, the only one who can actually save anyone.

It makes no sense.

Minor matters of worlds and authorities

Also because the subject is banned, so no information can be shared, it is my experience that regular church-going Christians simply do not grasp the central importance of the lies of modern big space cosmology in relation to our faith, our walk with the Lord, and our understanding of the literal truth of the Word of God and the reality of the Satanic system in which we live.

The spinning ball realm with its multiple 666s encoded in every single aspect of the mathematics used to make the claims (actually witchcraft) is Satan's kingdom, in which the beauty of God's precious work is obscured and our home is reduced to a "pale blue dot" of completely insignificant importance in the vast solar system and beyond. It also forms the bedrock for the lie of evolution and the lie of atheism, since the big bang singularity event  is its source. A big bang could never be posited as the source of the unique world fashioned by the hand of God, never moving and laid out beneath His Eternal Throne,
standing indeed on pillars, as it is accurately (of course) described in our Bible.
This lie is the single philosophical keystone supporting the massive development of atheistic thinking in the modern world. Once removed, the whole sorry edifice must collapse. It is central to the issue of salvation.

The very heavens - the throne of the Almighty God, may his name be praised forever - are removed and replaced with a black void in which, we are told, elected men can float as though they were in water. To which men can ascend in rocket ships, even though the Bible clearly teaches that there is only one way to Heaven, which is through the Lord Jesus Christ. Big Space is the Tower of Babel, set up in defiance of the Lord and his anointed.

Careful scrutiny of the claims of modern astronomy, as of almost all other areas of science, cannot fail to reveal that those who have made them are mocking us and the Lord.

The minds of children are fractured by this Pythagorean paradigm at a tender age, because they must be taught to distrust their senses. Their perception, of course, is that of living on a motionless land of fields and mountains covered with a vast sky that contains sun and moon, of similar size and locally positioned in respect to the Earth. They must however be made to believe in the globes present in all schools and the space propaganda spewed from every screen and video game. We are actually spinning! Up is up for us, but the same direction would be down in Australia! we are held down by a magical force called gravity, otherwise we would all spin off into space! It is hard to grasp, but all the adults nod their heads wisely and so the child realises that his or her God-given senses are unreliable. A similar injury is inflicted when parents lie about the very wicked Santa Clause, whose very name spells Satan. Nasa shares the same characteristic, with the forked tongue vector through the letters doubling as the missing "t".

The world we are told to believe in by the high priesthood of science is sun centred, because the people who control it are sun worshippers and have been so since Babylonian times.

But the world described in our King James Bible is quite different. It is the Lord's realm, surmounted by the firmament in which he has set the sun and moon and the countless and beautiful stars, all for his glory and our wonder. And he sits above all upon his throne, so we all look up to heaven in precisely the same direction, whether we live in iceland or on the curiously named Deception Island in the South Shetlands.
There are literally hundreds of verses in our Bible that confirm the true nature of the World and the Heavens.

To claim that to ignore them and continue to believe the Babylonian lie is a matter of little consequence is, frankly, ingenuous. And to claim, as some do, that the King James Bible teaches that we live in the spinning ball universe (in which the Earth spirals around the sun on an elliptical orbit at a speed of
66,616 miles per hour) is either a sophism or a lie.

Of course, people may choose to refrain from looking into the matter and so remain on the fence about the nature of our world, but they must be very careful before then claiming to believe the literal truth of the Bible. Also, is this the Biblically recommended action, and is not the diligent search for truth generally endorsed and encouraged by Scripture?

I have often heard people say that it is more important to try to get as many people saved as possible and this issue is secondary at best.

Well, in Scripture, when things needed to get done the first step was always to ensure absolute submission to the will of God in all things. There must be no anger, unrest, strife, or wickedness in our heart and in our camp: we need to trust in Him fully. Is it a small thing that we have allowed the literal truth of the Lord's creation to be so hideously distorted by Satan within the heart of the very church? That in this matter we are not trusting the words of Scripture? And that a sincere believer is so glibly prevented from protesting and defending the literal truth of our Bible?

There is no church in the land in which this matter can be taught and discussed, whether Catholic or Protestant or other, even in a small "faithful" assembly like your own. I cannot speak as a member of the congregation any longer or
I would be in breach of instructions received, so I am necessarily without the camp. I had no desire to depart, but after a few initial attempts to invite discussion and investigation I have fallen into line and remained silent for a long time. I have known this truth since before I first attended Hellier Street. That it is unknown and indeed unwelcome in that assembly and elsewhere is, I think, a very serious matter indeed.

We need to remove the accursed thing from the camp before the people can be truly blessed by the Lord. And can it be doubted that tolerance or even endorsement of Babylonian sun worship is an accursed thing indeed?

Faithful submission to the Lord always produces fruit, especially when such submission brings with it condemnation from the world. Surely then, and only then, would we see many people blessed with salvation. Then the assembly would really catch on fire, and we would likely see a division in the churches with a departure of the lukewarm and false prophets, accompanied by a simultaneous and far more abundant influx of new believers from all backgrounds.
